The BYD Quzhujian 05 (translated as BYD Destroyer 05 or BYD Chaser 05) is a compact sedan manufactured by Chinese automaker BYD Auto. As the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) of the "Ocean Series", it features the advanced DM-i hybrid technology.
The interior features an 8.8-inch instrument panel and a 15.6-inch rotatable main touch screen. It is equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, providing active braking, lane maintenance, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian recognition.
Powered by the DM-i hybrid EHS system, it offers an ultra-low fuel consumption of 3.8 litres per 100 kilometres. The 120 km range version supports 25 kW fast charging, reaching 30% to 80% charge in just 25 minutes. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 7.3 seconds.
